Refund & Repair Policy

At Solidot, we are committed to providing high-quality industrial automation products and reliable after-sales support. Please review our refund and repair policy carefully before placing an order.

1. Eligibility for Refunds

Due to the professional and industrial nature of our products, refunds are subject to the following conditions:

  • Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of delivery.
  • Products must be unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging, including all accessories and documentation.
  • Customized products, OEM/ODM items, and products clearly marked as non-returnable are not eligible for refunds.

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or unauthorized modification
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Products returned without prior authorization

2. Return Authorization Process

Before returning any product, customers must contact us at: support@solidot.io

Please provide:

  • Order number
  • Product model and serial number
  • Description of the issue
  • Photos or videos (if applicable)

Returns sent without approval will not be accepted.

3. Repair & Warranty Service

Solidot products are covered by a standard warranty period of 12 months from the date of shipment, unless otherwise specified.

During the warranty period:

  • We will provide free repair or replacement for defects caused by manufacturing or material issues.
  • Customers are responsible for shipping the product to Solidot.
  • Solidot will cover the return shipping cost after repair or replacement.

Warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by improper wiring, incorrect voltage, or environmental conditions
  • Unauthorized repair or alteration
  • Use outside the product's specified operating conditions

4. Repair Service Outside Warranty

For products outside the warranty period:

  • Repair services are available at a reasonable cost
  • A repair quotation will be provided for customer approval before proceeding

5. Refund Processing Time

Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after the returned product is inspected and confirmed.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

6. Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a confirmed manufacturing defect
